How to Detox- Part II

What to Eat
Focus on consuming mostly lean protein and vegetables. You can also include some fruit and low glycemic grains and starches (steel cut oatmeal, sweet potato, butternut squash, farro, barley).
Include detoxifying foods, herbs and spices such as: onions, garlic, turmeric, rosemary, thyme, lemon, cilantro, parsley, cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale, cabbage), fruit (rich in antioxidants).
Consume the detox juice/smoothie everyday at least once but more is better (recipe to follow in future post).
A soup and salad for lunch may be easier than other choices and I will include some menu examples. However, as long as you follow the guidelines any food or meal will work.
