Detox Day 4
Breakfast
#detox I can't believe I'm on day four! I have really been enjoying the fresh, unprocessed foods. Today I had steel cut oatmeal with nuts and 1/2 sliced banana along with my detox drink for breakfast. Below you will see the recipe for the detox drink.
Lunch and Dinner
I enjoyed a couple of crackers made from spelt flour spread with almond butter for a snack and a spicy bean chili for lunch. I had apple for another snack later in the day. Dinner consisted of broiled lemon pepper salmon with roasted brussel sprouts and a small portion of rice.
Elimination
Along with the healthy, unprocessed foods I'm consuming, I'm also taking liver cleansing herbs that include milk thistle and dandelion root. In fact, I'm drinking a dandelion tea. It is important to keep all of the elimination channels of the body open to help the toxins eliminate from the body. You should be sweating and urinating more and having at least a couple of bowel movements per day to eliminate the toxins.

"My Detox Drink" recipe

2-3 celery stalks
1/4 medium raw beet
1 bunch parsley
1 cored, peeled and sliced green apple
1-2 medium carrots
juice of 1/2 -1 lemon
1 teaspoon fresh ginger
1 packet stevia
add water to desired thickness
Blend all ingredients and enjoy!
