Detox Day 2

#detox Well, today is the second day of the detox and I must say so far it has been great!!! Yesterday for lunch, I feasted on spicy lentil soup and kale salad and today I enjoyed curry chickpeas and a red cabbage, beet and carrot slaw. Oh and I can't forget the tangy detox drink I'm having every morning along with steel cut oatmeal or homemade granola. I am enjoying all the vegetables I'm getting and all the wonderful flavors of the spices. Last night for dinner I made a sesame, ginger, chicken stir fry. I don't miss any sweets or processed/packaged foods (not that I ate that many in the first place). I'm kinda wingin it on my recipes but I plan to post some of them soon. Tonight I made lunch for the next 2 days: mushroom barley soup w/ spinach salad for Wednesday and bean chili and spring mix for Thursday. I also put some steel cut oatmeal in the crockpot so it will be ready for tomorrow morning.
